In Utah, RN licensure through the Division of Professional Licensing (DOPL) is a two-step process. First you register with Pearson VUE, submit a Request for Authorization to Test and your official transcript to DOPL at the same time, test and pass (results emailed in three to five business days). Second you apply for the licence itself (US$90) and submit fingerprints; a complete application is issued in up to 14 business days. Utah is a Nurse Licensure Compact state.
