How to register for the NCLEX in Nevada

To work as an RN in Nevada you license with the Nevada State Board of Nursing through the Nevada Nurse Portal (US$100). Your program must be nationally accredited, your transcript arrives from the school, Pearson VUE notifies the Board within about a week of your payment, and fingerprints (US$40 at the Board) can take up to four months to clear, so the permanent licence waits for them. Applications are processed in about a week and stay valid for one year. Nevada is not in the Nurse Licensure Compact.
