To work as an RN in Indiana you license with the Indiana State Board of Nursing through the Professional Licensing Agency's MyLicense One portal. The exam application costs US$50 (US$25 more for a multistate licence), every applicant completes a US$38.20 IdentoGO fingerprint check after applying, and your school sends a signed Certificate of Completion directly to the Board. A US$10 temporary permit lets graduates who have never failed the NCLEX work for up to six months or until they test. Indiana implemented the Nurse Licensure Compact on July 1, 2020.
